Effective July 1st, we have implemented a new process of providing services. In order to access our Job Services (Self-Service Resource Room, Career Coaches, and Workshops), all clients must be registered in CalJOBS at http://www.caljobs.ca.gov.
Additionally, they must follow the guidelines listed below:
- New or returning clients wanting to attend a VJC workshop or see a career coach must attend a new orientation that will start Wednesday, July 7. There is an exception to existing REA, WIA Training, and Job Club clients. **IMPORTANT** Please show up at least 15 minutes prior to start of orientation. Attendees who arrive late will not be admitted and will need to come back for another orientation.
- New or returning clients will not be allowed in our orientation unless they have all the required eligibility documents (valid Driver's License, Social Security card, U.S. Passport, etc.)
- New or returning clients must attend a workshop after July 1 prior to seeing a Career Coach (past workshops do not count)
- New and returning clients must be prepared to check-in at our Welcome Desk with your Social Security number to use any of our services. Exceptions will be given to those with unemployment insurance questions, conference meeting attendees, scheduled appointments with EDD or GYA or our VJC case managers.
