| Job Description | Adult Day Care facility for the Developmental DisabledIn Inglewood is now hiring DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF The ideal Direct Support Staff candidate must have great communication skills, customer service, efficient in quality care to adults with developmental disabilities, and be a team leader. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Assist clients, who require special needs and attention· Help clients engage in meaningful activities daily· Assist clients in modifying behavior, with social and life training skills· Assist clients with their meals, hygiene, and grooming· Perform other duties as required and assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:· High school diploma or equivalent required· Be able to obtain a Fingerprint clearance· Be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 1 month of hire· Be able to obtain CPI certification within 6 months of hire· Must have reliable transportation· Must be able to clear pre-employment health screen and T.B. clearance· Must be able to lift 50 pounds· Must be caring, friendly and love working with developmentally disabled adults· Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) desired Schedule: P-T/ M-F 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
